The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 457, 380 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has been made accused in this case merely on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused, Basant Manjhi and except confession, nothing is on record against the petitioner and the petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 13.02.2019.
