2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhawanipur (Balia O.P) P.S. Case No. 10 of 2020, lodged on 17.01.2020 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 447, 341, 342, 323, 324, 302, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the FIR has been lodged against 10 named accused persons. As per the FIR, there is specific allegation against the present petitioner that he has attacked by knife on the neck of the informant's mother due to which she died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 10.07.2023.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that there is a direct allegation against the present petitioner to assault by knife on the neck of the informant's mother which resulted into her death.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Bhawanipur (Balia O.P) P.S. Case No. 10 of 2020, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea is hereby rejected.
