The petitioner is accused in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 29/2017, registered under Sections 393, 307, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that four persons, named in the FIR including the petitioner, were apprehended by the police on suspicion. On search, the petitioner was found in possession of one live cartridge, whereas other was also in possession of arms and ammunitions.

Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.02.2017.
