1. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the prayer for anticipatory bail with respect to petitioner no. 2, namely, Rohit Kumar who was arrested during pendency of the anticipatory bail application.

2. Permission is accorded.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail with respect to petitioner no. 2 is dismissed as withdrawn.

4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner no. 1 and learned A.P.P. for the State.

5. The petitioner no. 1 apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioner no. 1 submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68818 of 2024(3) dt.31-01-2025 2/3 that petitioner no. 1 is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman. It is further submitted that the informant alleges that her daughter was married to Rahul Kumar in the year 2010 and after marriage the accused persons including the petitioner no. 1 tortured her for dowry and the daughter of the informant gave information about her torture through mobile. It is next alleged that out of the wedlock, three children were born. It is further alleged that on 19.02.2024, there was a heated argument of the daughter of the informant with her mother-in-law and other inlaws. Further, on 20.02.2024 the informant got an information that her daughter has received electric shock.

Learned counsel for the petitioner no. 1 submits that petitioner no. 1 is the sister-in-law of the deceased and from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that the entire allegation hinges around suspicion. It is further submitted that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature with respect to the petitioner no. 1.

8. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

9. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner no. 1, let the petitioner no. 1 abovenamed, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned

No.68818 of 2024(3) dt.31-01-2025 3/3 Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Jamhore P.S. Case No. 25 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
