The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Sathi Police Station Case No.87 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 498-A and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of torturing the opposite party no.2 by her husband and other in-laws for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand as also performing the re-marriage by her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62402 of 2019(2) dt.16-10-2019 2/2 husband and removing the opposite party no.2 from the matrimonial house.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is father-in-law, petitioner no.2 is mother-in-law and petitioner nos.3 and 4 are brothers-in-law of the opposite party no.2 and they have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender by them within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Sathi Police Station Case No.87 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
