2. Petitioners seek regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 of IPC . 3 . As per the prosecution case, informant, namely , Seraj Ansari alleged that on 27.08.2021, at about 08:00 AM, this petitioner who is the husband of the informant's daughter, perpetrated her homicidal death by inflicting repeated blows with a sharp-edged weapon . It is further alleged that when informant reached at the place of occurrence , he saw his daughter lying dead and blood oozing from her body .
4. On perusal of record, it appears that petitioner is husband of deceased. As per paragraph 3 of inquest report and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68048 of 2025(3) dt.25-11-2025 2/2 seizure list, one sharp knife was recovered from the house of this petitioner. During course of investigation, witnesses were examined and have also supported the prosecution case . 5 . Considering the fact that dead body of the daughter of informant was recovered from the house of this petitioner, materials available on record, nature of accusation and gravity of offence , prayer for bail of the petitioners is refused. However, since petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2021, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, within the period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
