2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the Pay Verification Certificate issued vide receipt No. 1108220700931 (Annexure - P/7) under the signature of authorized officer, Pay Verification Cell, Department of
Patna High Court CWJC No.15062 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 2/3 Education, Government of Bihar dated 21.05.2024, whereby the basic pay of the petitioner has been reduced from Rs. 21,380 to Rs. 9,050.
3. The Pay Verification Certificate has been challenged on the ground that it has been issued in violation of principles of natural justice as the same has been issued without issuing a show cause notice to the petitioner, thereby providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that a similar set of writ petitions, being CWJC No. 16104 of 2024, has been adjudicated by this Court vide order dated 13.11.2024, whereby the similar Pay Verification Certificate has been set aside on the ground that the same had been issued in violation of the principles of natural justice.
5. Learned counsel for the State has not disputed the aforesaid contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Under the circumstances, since learned counsel for the State has conceded to the contention raised by the petitioner, this writ petition is hereby allowed by setting aside the Pay Verification Certificate issued vide receipt No. 1108220700931 (Annexure - P/7) under the signature of authorized officer, Pay Verification Cell, Department of Education, Government of
Patna High Court CWJC No.15062 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 3/3 Bihar dated 13.08.2024.
7. Needless to say, upon setting aside of the impugned Pay Verification Certificate as contained in Annexure - P/7, earlier pay scale drawn by the petitioner shall stand restored.
8. The writ petition stands disposed off with the above directions.
