For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) commanding the Respondents to immediately postpone the scheduled Patna University Students' Union Election 2022-23 and to conduct the same election, as per Rule 13 (b) of the Statute for Students' Union framed by the Patna University, Patna under Section 44(2) of the Patna University Act, 1976, after the admission process for this academic session in respect of all programmes are completed..

III. For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) commanding the Respondents to immediately revise. and reissue the notification and the schedule of the Patna University Students' Union Election 202223. IV. For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) commanding the Respondents to immediately revise and republish the electoral roll of the students by including those students who have been excluded from the electoral list and who are eligible to cast their vote in Patna University

V. For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) commanding the Respondents to immediately provide a fair chance to the students, who are yet to get admission in the university after appearing and passing the Patna University Admission Entrance Exam 2022 in respect of various courses, for the purpose of their candidature in election and for the purpose of casting vote in the Patna University Students' Union Election 2022-23 by including them in the electoral list. VI. For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) commanding the Respondents to immediately comply with the Lyngdo Committee Recommendations and the Statute for Students' Union framed by the Patna University, Patna under Section 44(2) of the Patna University Act, 1976. And / Or VII. Pass such other order or orders as your lordships may deem fit and proper."

Learned counsel for the petitioner, under instructions, states that, in view of the intervening developments, the petition may be permitted to be withdrawn.
