2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 393/2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 308(5), 109, 3(5) of B.N.S. and Section 27 of Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with co-accused Golu Singh with three unknown persons shot the informant's father at his shop for non-payment of extortion money (Rangdari) of Rs. 5 lakhs in the town of Munger.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. No incriminating articles has been recovered from his possession.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66388 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 Learned counsel further submits that he has two criminal antecedents in which he is on bail and he is in custody since 07.02.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.
5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that there is direct allegation against him that he along with other co-accused persons killed the informant's father due to non-fulfillment of demand of extortion money.
6. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
