The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 306 of 2019 dated 30.07.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Approximately 630 litres of liquors is said to have been recovered from a vehicle and from another place. The vehicle does not belong to the petitioner. His name has transpired only on the information provided by local persons that he had brought the consignment of liquor.

In the only other case in the past in which the petitioner was made accused, he is on bail.
