The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 227 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 5097.600 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from the box of the truck. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there is no recovery from the conscious possession of the petitioner, but recovery of huge quantity of the liquor, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
