2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 308(5) and 308(4) of B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution is that from an unknown mobile number, a call was received on the mobile of the informant threatening him to give Rs. 1 crore failing which, he along with son will be killed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the name of this petitioner has surfaced in the case on the basis of confessional statement of Pramod Kumar Maurya and Bhola @ Hunny. It has

Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that Bhola @ Hunny has been granted bail by learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 11.07.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 43051 of 2025. The case of this petitioner stands on better footing than that of Bhola @ Hunny. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 07.09.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and submitted that petitioner is having criminal antecedent of two cases.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 207 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Class Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur.
