2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant is a utensil seller. On 22.03.2024 at about 03:30 P.M., when he was returning from his village, some boys on a bike chased him and took away his mobile and cash of Rs.5,260/-.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the FIR was lodged against unknown miscreants. One Sumant Kumar was apprehended and he has given his confessional statement and in that statement he had named this petitioner. Learned counsel further submits that nothing has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69464 of 2024(4) dt.20-02-2025 2/2 been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and that the co-accused Sumant Kumar has been granted bail vide Cr. Misc. Case No. 73669 of 2024.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Hulasganj P.S. Case No. 77 of 2024.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed.
