Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for his appointment on compassionate ground in terms of policy decision of State Government in view of sudden death of his elder brother on 19.11.2016 while working a Nagar Higher Secondary Teacher in J.N.K.T. Inter School, Khagaria. 3.

He further submits that earlier the petitioner had moved before this Court in which a co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the respondents to take appropriate decision on the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15213 of 2024(2) dt.07-10-2024 2/2 claim of the petitioner at the earliest and after the receiving of such order, respondents directed the petitioner to submit documents of TET/STET. (Annexure-P/4 of the writ application). He further submits that subsequently the petitioner has passed the TET/STET examination but till date the issue is pending before the authorities.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the respondent concerned is directed to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 5.
