JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the opposite party no.2. Despite valid service of notice, on repeated calls, no body appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sonepur P.S.Case No. 56 of 2017 registered under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner was consuming electricity by direct hooking from L.T. line of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected.
