2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Maner P.S Case No. 406 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80(2), 3/5 BNS.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, daughter of the informant was married with co-accused Satendra Kumar in the year 2024 and after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and harassment by all the accused persons due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry and ultimately the accused persons committed the murder of the daughter of informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He next

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67654 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/3 submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. He further submits that petitioner lived separately from Satyendra Rai (husband of the deceased) from five years ago and there is no any concern with co-accused Satendra Rai from any angle. He further submits that the husband of the deceased is in judicial custody in this case. Moreover, as per the FIR, there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. He further submits that other accused persons/family members have already granted anticipatory bail from the co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 09.09.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 61410 of 2025. Petitioner is in custody since 09.06.2025.

5. However, learned APP for the State oppose the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. On perusal of the FIR, impugned order dated 26.08.2025, it appears that petitioner is the father in law and other family members have already granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 09.09.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 61410 of 2025. So, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned
