2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 467, 468, 420, 406 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Phulwariya P.S.Case No. 62 of 2019.

3. As per allegation, the petitioner working as Nazir in Circle Office, Phulwariya, during the preparation of annual return, had not deposited Rs.4,12,695/- and Rs.6,00,000/- for the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19 in the treasury and deliberately having not audited the ledger, misappropriated the government money.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69166 of 2024(2) dt.08-10-2024 2/2 that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated due to personal grudge of the Circle Officer. The petitioner is in prison since 16.07.2024.

5. The learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner does not deserve the privilege of bail in view of his involvement in the case.

6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and keeping in view the magnitude of the offence, it is not a fit case to grant the petitioner the privilege of bail, which is hereby rejected.
