2. This writ petitioner has been filed for the following reliefs:
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1390 of 2022(5) dt.24-07-2025 2/3 (i) To issue appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) commanding the respondents to take immediate steps to protect the life and property of the petitioner and his family because inspite of several communications Goh P.S., Aurangabad has not taken any action for protection of life and property of the petitioner and his family members;
(ii) This Hon'ble Court may adjudicate and hold that it was the duty of the District Administration and Officer in Charge of the Goh Police Station to protect the life and property of the petitioner and his wife who are senior citizen and are living all by themselves;
(iii) To issue appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) commanding the respondents especially District Magistrate, Aurangabad, Superintendent of Police, Aurangabad and SHO Goh Police Station to provide protection to the petitioner during harvesting of the crop planted by the petitioner on his land because the private respondents are constantly threatening the petitioner to kill him and his family members if they start the harvesting.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is being disturbed by the private respondents and they are not allowing him to properly cultivate the land.
4. Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that the private respondents have no interest in the land
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1390 of 2022(5) dt.24-07-2025 3/3 in question and they undertake that they will not interfere in the peaceful possession of the petitioner.
5. In these circumstances, the Police is directed to provide all the protection to the petitioner in the agricultural work and if anyone including the private respondents creates any trouble, appropriate legal action shall be taken against them in accordance with law and if need arises, prohibitory order shall be passed by the authority.
6. In view of the above discussions, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a contempt petition if the order of this Court is violated. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U
