JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-11-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Kalyan Shankar, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant.

This application for grant of regular bail arising out of Kauwakol P.S. Case No. 342 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that petitioner cheated the informant and took Rs. 7,15000/- from him after showing land which did not belong to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69468 of 2023(2) dt.01-11-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that the petitioner thereafter manufactured a document showing that he has returned the amount to the informant.

In view of the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.
