2. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected on merit vide order dated 07.02.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 52879 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2023. However, there is no progress in the trial of the case. In the report submitted by the trial court it is stated that charge has been framed on 09.01.2024, but no prosecution witnesses have been examined till date.

3. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press this petition and liberty may be granted to move the fresh petition for bail of petitioner, if required, after six months from today.
