2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 17.04.2019 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 8170 of 2019, whereby, the District Magistrate, Purnea was directed to take appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of gun license in accordance with Rule.
3. Opposite party no. 2 - the District Magistrate, Purnea has filed a show cause, wherein in paragraph no. 4, it has been stated that in compliance of the direction passed by this Court in the writ petition, the application of the petitioner for
Patna High Court MJC No.3820 of 2019(4) dt.02-07-2025 2/2 grant of gun license was considered and the same was rejected in accordance with the Arms Rule, 2016. The rejection order, dated 18.05.2021 vide Memo No. 1125/Gen, has been enclosed as Annexure-A to the show cause.
4. In view of the above, I find that the order dated 17.04.2019 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 8170 of 2019 has been complied with by the opposite parties.
5. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed off.
