Petitioner is in custody in connection with Jokihat (Mahalgaon) P.S. Case No. 292 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case total 16 liters of codeine cough syrup was seized. Learned counsel submits that petitioner is in custody since 8.8.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62901 of 2019(2) dt.01-10-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Jokihat (Mahalgaon) P.S. Case No. 292 of 2019, Special Case No. 980 of 2019.
