The grievance of the petitioners is indecisiveness on the part of the respondents in the matter of taking appropriate decision on the representation, as contained in Annexure-6. Learned counsel for the petitioners with reference to Annexure-9 submits that the legal issue has been decided by this Court vide oral judgment dated 11.12.2018 in C.W.J.C. No.
Patna High Court CWJC No.20161 of 2019(2) dt.01-10-2019 2/2 9911 of 2015 and in the light of Annexure-9, the petitioners have approached the University as well as Director (Higher Education) by way of filing representation way back on 20.08.2019, but no decision has been taken on the representation filed by the petitioners.
Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, J. P. University, Chapra to take appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioners, as contained in Annexure-6, at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
It goes without saying that the respondents have to workout the consequential benefit of the petitioners, if the representation is decided in their favour.
