The petitioner is languishing in custody since 8.7.2019 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1B) a and 26 of the Arms Act. The prosecution case is that from the possession of the petitioner, a loaded country made pistol was recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the police officers are being made as witnesses in the seizurelist and the investigation has already been concluded. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent.

Learned APP submits that the recovery has been made from the possession of the petitioner.

P.S. Case No.225 of 2019.
