2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 09 of 2023, registered under Sections 273, 273 and 120(b) of the IPC and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.
3. As per the first information report, on a secret information, a police team recovered in total 1654.854 liters of foreign liquor from a truck and trailer and the contraband liquor and the truck and trailer were seized.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedents and the truck and the trailer does not belong to him and he was not apprehended from the spot and nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. It is next submitted that one co-accused,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66077 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 namely, Ranjan Choudhary, has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 16.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 26801 of 2023.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 1,000/- (rupees one thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise-I, Begusarai, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 09 of 2023 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023.
