2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ghoghardiha P. S. Case No. 71 of 2025 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 85, 103(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the prosecution case, marriage of the daughter of informant was solemnized with co-accused Ranjeet Kumar Sah about 10 years ago and thereafter, it is alleged that all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, committed murder of the daughter of informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry and attempted to cremate the dead body with a view to disappear the evidence.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is simply a victim of over implication. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the affairs of the deceased. Thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 25.07.2025.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Ghoghardiha P. S. Case No. 71 of 2025.
