The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in connection with Jadia P.S. Case No. 62 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504, 379, 511/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioner, who are of clean antecedent, are innocent and have not committed any offence. In fact, no occurrence has taken place rather the petitioners have already deposited the electricity bill amount of Rs. 5901 which is evident from Annexure-2. The allegation of assault

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61899 of 2019(2) dt.16-10-2019 2/2 and snatching money from the informant is totally false and fabricated. Hence, the petitioners may be enlarged on anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the state has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioners have assaulted the government officials of the electricity department while they were disconnecting there electricity connection on non-payment of electricity dues. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail of these petitioners is rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) brajesh/- U T
