This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to reconsider the case of the petitioner for posting, based on his seniority in the merit list, and allot him in the office of the District Joint Dispensary, Khagaria as per his first preference given during the selection process.

The petitioner wants to be posted as per his choice, which is not permissible in Government service. A preferred posting cannot be given to a Government servant as a

I do not find any merit in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed.
