Petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to pay salary in terms of the order dated 23.12.2017 passed in Appeal No. 63 of 2017 by District Appellate Authority, Vaishali.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that the decision of the District Appellate Authority has not been challenged by the respondents, yet he has not been paid salary.

Considering the fact that the order of the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.18994 of 2019(2) dt.16-09-2019 2/2 Appellate Authority is in favour of the petitioner, the Court directs the respondents to ensure payment of salary in terms of the order of the District Teachers Employment Appellate Authority dated 23.12.2017 at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the arrears will carry interest at the rate of 9% from the date of accrual to the date of actual payment and the same shall be born out from the pocket of District Programme Officer (Establishment), Vaishali.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
