The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 99 of 2019 dated 23.04.2019 instituted for the offences under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the Chairman of the concerned PACS and the entire management of the PACS was being conducted by one Umesh Prasad. The irregularities which have been found in the investigation is of minor nature. It has also been submitted that the case was lodged after three months of the investigation of the office and godown of the PACS.

No.60861 of 2019(3) dt.16-11-2019 2/2 Considering the aforestated facts the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 99 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
