2. In the present case, the petitioner has submitted that on account of vast devastation in the district of Araria, a large number of persons of Batukbari Panchayat have been rendered homeless or their houses have been washed away.

3. As per the counsel for the petitioner, the names of affected persons have been identified and a list of those persons has been prepared which is lying with the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.19781 of 2019(2) dt.25-09-2019 2/2 Araria for grant of money for the purposes of construction of their respective houses under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, but till date, no payment has been made to them for construction of a new house.

4. Let the petitioner file a proper representation, giving details of fact, to the District Magistrate, Araria, who will ensure that if the affected persons have not been paid any benefit under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, he must ensure the payment in the manner provided, but they should not be granted benefit in multiple time. The entire action should be taken within a period of six months from the date of filing of the representation by the petitioner.

5. With the above observation and direction, this petition is disposed of.
