JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-11-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioners are in custody in connection with Khagaria ( Gangaur) P.S.Case No. 659 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The deceased was got married with Chandan Kumar Sharma on 25.01.2023 and she was killed on 30.06.2023. The petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased. The allegation is of killing the deceased for dowry and thereafter hanging her.

Learned cousnel for the informant has submitted that the petitioners and other co-accused are trying to pressurize the

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the death of the deceased after few months of her marriage, this court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioners and accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioners is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioners. The District Judge, Khagaria and the Superintendent of Police, Khagaria are directed to get the trial of the petitioners concluded at the earliest preferably, within three months after getting the case transferred to the FTC and the District Judge, Khagaria shall file a compliance report after three months.
