This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Patepur P.S. Case No.201 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 32(ii), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

About 2082 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from a truck. The petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2023.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68492 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.02-cumAdditional District & Sessions Judge, Hajipur at Vaishali, in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No.201 of 2023. 6.

This is subject to the condition that petitioner shall mark his attendance in Patepur Police Station, DistrictVaishali, on first and last Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
