====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 147, 149, 353, 307, 354, 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 14.02.2023 at about 1:15 PM, all the F.I.R.-named accused persons, including the petitioner, had blocked a road by placing the dead body of one Jaiprakash Das. It is further alleged that while the informant and other police personnel tried to pacify the matter, the gathered people became angry and started abusing and misbehaving with all the police officials, including female police personnel.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been named in this case only on suspicion with general and omnibus allegations. There is no specific allegation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66506 of 2025(2) dt.05-12-2025 2/2 of assault against this petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused persons, Jageshwar Das and Jairam Das, have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 06.08.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44874 of 2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the general and omnibus allegations against this petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with Pakaridayal P.S. Case No. 35 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
