2. The petitioner has filed this writ application with a prayer to quash the major punishment of reduction of 3 per cent pension contained in order No.2601 dated 26.07.2011.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the same relief, he has already filed an appeal before the Chairman, Bihar State Electricity Board (now known as Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd.) which has been enclosed in the writ application. This representation is still pending consideration and, therefore, learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.22795 of 2012(7) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if this writ application is disposed of directing the Chairman of the Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd. to dispose of the pending representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a time frame.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the Chairman Bihar State Electricity Board (now known as Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd.) to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2011 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order.
5. The final order which shall be passed should be reasoned and speaking order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of.
7. All pending I.A.s., if any, is deemed to have been disposed of.
