2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pusa P.S. Case No. 97 of 2025, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

3. As per the first information report, on a secret information that huge quantity of liquor has been stored for delivery by some vehicle, the police team reached at the place of occurrence and on seeing the policy party the accused persons fled away, however, the Mahal Chowkidar identified the accused persons. In total, 96.750 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from a motorcycle and a car, which were seized.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the seized liquor does not belong to this petitioner nor this petitioner is the owner of the seized vehicle and further his name has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66128 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 surfaced on the basis of statement of Mahal Chowkidar though he was not present near the place of occurrence. It is next submitted that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedents.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise-I, Samastipur, in connection with Pusa P.S. Case No. 97 of 2025 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023.
