====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 85, 182(2), 103(1), 238, 351(2), 351(3), 352 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that nine named accused persons, including this petitioner, killed the sister of the informant for dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and that he has been living separately from his son. He further submits that due to a quarrel between the deceased and her husband, she committed suicide. As per the post - mortem report, the cause of death is asphyxia. The petitioner is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72907 of 2025(3) dt.01-12-2025 2/2 custody since 25.03.2025 and the charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the nature of accusations and the period of custody, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District & Additional Sessions Judge17th, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Sessions Trial No. 596 of 2025 arising out of Aurai P.S.
