====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, all the F.I.R.-named accused persons, including this petitioner, variously armed, abused the informant and on the order of co-accused Narendra Puri, co-accused Nirbhay Puri assaulted the informant on the head with a sword, while other co-accused persons assaulted him with a pipe, causing injuries. It is further alleged that when the wife and daughter of the informant came to save him, they were also assaulted by co-accused Nirbhay Puri and other co-

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous enmity. As per the F.I.R. itself, the specific accusation of assault is against co-accused Nirbhay Puri. So far as this petitioner is concerned, there are only general and omnibus allegations and no specific allegation of overt act has been levelled against him. A similarly situated co-accused, namely Chhotu Puri @ Parmeshwar Puri @ Chhotu Kumar Puri @ Parmeshwar Kumar Puri, has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 24.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 39052 of 2025. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the general and omnibus allegations against the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.
