Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 366A/34 of the IPC and section 12 of the POCSO Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner kidnapped informant's 15 years old daughter and handed her over to co-accused Shiv Shankar Kumar @ Sintu who sold her to some other person for the purpose of human trafficking.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the allegation is against co-accused Shiv Shankar Kumar. Petitioner is in custody in the instant case since 5.8.2019. In view of the nature of the allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused.
