Amish Kumar, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: As agreed between the parties, the writ petition stands disposed off in view of payments already made to the petitioner. However, it is only clarified that the same shall not in any way be a comment on the merits of the matter relating to payment of dearness relief to a family pensioner for cases in future. It is further agreed that the petitioner would be free to file a representation before the authorities concerned enclosing all supporting papers/judgments in his favour.

Upon the same being filed within four weeks from today, it is agreed that the concerned respondents shall consider the same and pass a reasoned order within four weeks thereafter.

The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
