JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) To issue an appropriate writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners to the post of Block Account Manager / First Referral Unit Accountant (FRU) in the District Health Society situated in the districts of Muzaffarpur, Sheikhpura and Khagaria from their date of appointment against the post of accountant sanctioned through memo no.

942 dated 28.12.2018 and memo no. 162 dated 10.05.2018.

(ii) To issue an appropriate writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant

Patna High Court CWJC No.17945 of 2022(2) dt.23-04-2024 3/3 weightage / preference to the petitioners in the selection of Lower Divisional Clerks/ Accountants in the Health Department against the 618 posts duly approved by the Cabinet and sanctioned vide memo no. 942 dated 28.12.2018 and memo no. 162 dated 10.05.2018."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
