2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Pauthu P.S. Case No. 8 of 2023, lodged on 16.01.2023 under Sections 302, 201 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the FIR has been lodged against 4 named accused persons including the present petitioner. As per the FIR, the allegation against the present petitioner is that he has killed the sister of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel also submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 17.01.2023. Counsel further submits that charge has already been framed in this case.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 12.01.2024, report has been called for and from the said report, it transpires that the trial is going to be concluded within one year.

6. Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

7. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at present.

8. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Pauthu P.S. Case No. 8 of 2023, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Aurangabad is hereby rejected.

9. Liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner that he may renew his prayer for bail after one year in case he will support in the trial.
