2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 333, 353, 385, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, informant who is CDPO, Ghoghardiha block, alleged that the petitioner and his associate regularly come to the office premises and put hindrance in discharge of her official duty. They demand Rs.10,000/- per month. On 9.6.2013 accused persons came to the office of the informant and threatened her of dire consequnnces. Wife of petitioner is Anganbari sevika.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. specific allegation of demanding Rs.10,000/- is against co-accused Deo Kant Jha. Petitioner is a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69375 of 2024(2) dt.27-03-2025 2/2 journalist of a local Hindi newspaper and had published news regarding illegal act of the informant due to this reason, present false case has been lodged against him. Co-accused Deo Kant Jha has already been allowed bail by a bench of this Court vide Cr.Mis.No. 10435/2024. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in Ghoghardiha Police Station Case No. 50 of 2013, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
