Counsel for the petitioner submits that the pension, gratuity and other post retiral benefits is pending in the Office of the Magadh University since, October 26, 2021. He submits that he has filed reminder but even then no order has been passed. Counsel for the University submits that the appropriate authority who shall pass the order is not the Vice Chancellor rather the Registrar.
In this view of the matter, let the respondent no. 4 is
Patna High Court CWJC No.16179 of 2022(2) dt.03-02-2023 2/2 directed to pass a reasoned order on the representation filed by the petitioner by which he claimed about the payment of his pension, gratuity and other post retiral benefits. A speaking order must be passed within 4 weeks after filing the order with the fresh representation before the said respondent. With the aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed off.
