2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 195 of 2019 dated 14.06.2019 registered for the offences punishable u/s 302, 201, 304 B read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the informant's daughter mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 5,00,000 as dowry. On 13.06.2019 at about 11:00 P.M., the informant got information that the petitioner and the

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the deceased. The petitioner was implicated in this case merely on the basis of being a relative of husband of the deceased. The petitioner is cousin brother-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Gaya in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 195 of 2019.
