2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Srinagar P.S.Case No. 164 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition& Excise Amendment Act.
3. The recovery is of 185.92 liters liquor from the abundant house of one Jogi Mahto.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 15.07.2025.
5. The learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the fact and circumstances of the case and submissions of the parties, let the above named petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65972 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in connection with Srinagar P.S.Case No. 164 of 2025.
7. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 20,000/- in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Swami Vevekananda Path, Bela, Muzaffarpur, Bihar and produced the receipt of the same before the court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Srinagar Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) N.K/- U T
