The petitioner seeks bail in Korha P.S. Case No. 84 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 02.03.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55571 of 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner is an old lady and she is suffering from different ailments but, it appears that it was the petitioner who brought her daughter-in-law from her house and immediately thereafter the daughter-in-law of the petitioner was found hanging in a room. On consideration of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31906 of 2017 (3) dt.30-08-2017 aforesaid facts the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the same is once again rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite and hold the trial on day-to-day basis and conclude the same within six months from the date of this order. The S.P., Katihar is directed to ensure the attendance of all the prosecution witnesses of Korha P.S. Case No. 84 of 2016 in the trial court, so that the trial must be concluded within six months.

Let a copy of this order be transmitted to the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar as well as the S.P., Katihar for needful. If the trial is not concluded within six months, the petitioner may renew her prayer for bail. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) KKSINHA/- U T
