Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 25(1-B)A, 25-1A, 25-1AA, 25-1AAA of the Arms Act.
This is second attempt of the petitioner for grant of regular bail. Petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2017. Petitioner was apprehended along with a stolen motorcycle and on search a loaded country made pistol was recovered from his possession. Earlier this Court had refused prayer for bail on 20.06.2017 in Cr. Misc. No. 24063 of 2017 with liberty to renew the prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within nine months. Submission is that the trial has not concluded as

If the aforesaid submission is correct, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Trial No. 964 of 2017 arising out of Sadar Police Station Case No. 134 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
