This contempt application arises of the order dated 11.2.2011 passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 1010 of 2010 which was heard analogous with Cr.W.J.C.No. 1019 of 2010.
The petitioners seeking remission approached this Court. The Division Bench not being persuaded to enter into the
Patna High Court MJC No.1815 of 2017 dt.09-10-2018 2/2 facts allowed the decision to be taken by the State Sentence Remission Board.
According to the petitioner, the decision is still awaited. According to learned State counsel, the petitioners are not entitled for the relief of remission. Today when the matter is taken up none appears to press this contempt application which is accordingly dismissed.
