The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.2458 of 2012 instituted on 27th August, 2012 in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under sections 323 and 448 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 4 and 5 of the Prevention of Witch Practice Act, 1994. Having regard to the nature of allegation as well as the facts and circumstances of the case, the provisional anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 19th December, 2013, is hereby confirmed.
